What we keep

• There's no sign-up. You're remembered by a single cookie that holds a random player id. It isn't shared with anyone.
• If you save a passkey, we keep its public key against your player id so it can sign you in. Your fingerprint or face never leaves your device, and there's no email or password.
• Your lives and households are saved against that id so you can carry on later. They hold only what you made in the game, like your Sim's name and look.
• The game also keeps a copy of your current day in your browser's storage, so a refresh picks up where you were.
• A one-off device code works once, for 15 minutes, and only links another device to the same player id.
• No ads, no analytics, nothing sold. These website pages load their fonts from Google Fonts.

Clearing your browser's cookies starts you afresh on that device.
